The boAt marketing team aimed to target audiences aged 15-25 by introducing a playful brand named Misfit by boAt. The concept behind the name Misfit was to celebrate uniqueness and empower the youth to take pride in being different.
The chosen color palette reflected a vibrant and quirky brand identity. Design elements were intentionally unconventional, symbolizing societal taboos and embracing the unexpected. Examples included an orange and purple color scheme, zebras with unicorn horns, and pink cacti. The idea was to visually embody the essence of being a misfit through these unconventional elements.
